E anche per questi due giorni i miei 800Km me li sono fatti…

appena tornato da Urbino. Viaggio tranquillo, a parte qualche deviazione per lavori in corso.

Lù mi ha chiesto “ma come fai a viaggiare per 4 ore da solo? io impazzirei!”. Invece è interessante. Puoi pensare, tanto. E poi ho fatto viaggi di 15 ore da solo, in moto, senza neanche la musica. Solo i tuoi pensieri. E’ roba potente.

Gli ultimi 80Km ( o forse più ) sono stati accompagnati da una sola canzone. Una canzone che mi ricorda Walter, non so per quale motivo.

Non conoscevo bene Walter, forse non lo conoscevo affatto. Ma è stato uno dei primi ragazzi della mia età che ho conosciuto appena tornato a Trieste. Ed è stato subito molto cordiale con me. Grazie, mi hai fatto riscoprire la mia città come volevo. Piena di gente cordiale, simpatica, altruista.

Walter ci ha lasciati, meno di un mese fa. Era dell’Aprile 1983, 25 anni, come me. In tanti lo ricorderanno. E’ poca cosa, ma significa che hai fatto qualcosa di buono.

La canzone è Night Shift dei Commodores. La dedico alla Lù, mia grande amica. Qualsiasi cosa succeda, puoi e potrai sempre contare su di me. Sempre.
